JOB TITLE: Back-End Developer (Java) LOCATION: Cincinnati, OHIO-ONSITE (NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE) Duration: 1 Year+ NOTE: We can use OPT-EAD (as long as 1.5 years+ of eligibility minimum) or H4-EAD (2+ years of eligibility) and obviously GC-EAD, GC and USC are fine. No H1Bs and No C2C. They typically do not accept relocation candidates so they need to be local. That said, if someone lived in Cincinnati, OH (or even Dayton, OH or Columbus, OH) before and wants to move back Ohio specifically; or has family (direct) in Cincinnati, OH (Dayton, OH or Columbus, OH), I would consider sending a relocation candidate as long as they know they have to relocate prior to starting. This is a tougher ask given the on-site and I have ability to provide a more decent referral fee if you can land a placement for this one: Referral Fee: $7.00/hr. Duties and Responsibilities: Implement new features while maintaining the overall quality of software Contribute to a culture of learning by documenting and sharing technical knowledge as a developer on an agile squad Participate in developer communities of practice by following best practices, participating in code reviews, and sharing knowledge Remain current on relevant technology trends Participate in researching and resolving customer issues Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable with 5+ years of software development experience. Knowledge of object-oriented design and development. Strong problem solving skills Microservice design principles Java (8 or above) Spring Framework Spring Boot Experience with version control solutions, preferably Git/GitHub Docker Familiarity with relational databases and SQL Gradle Must Have Amazon Web Services (AWS) Application Dev.
