Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with best software development practices. Articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems and the teams running them. Work with engineers, designers, product and business to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter. Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your business. Qualifications and Experience: You have at least 10+ years of experience in software engineering with BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/work experience Ability to scale up in a fast moving environment A self-starter with a strong desire to increase efficiencies and make an impact while contributing to a cross-functional team. Youve designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service oriented architecture. You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your business. Youre passionate about building a home grown application Know your app! Seek to understand all aspects, business and technical, of the applications on which you work so you can be most effective. Continually learn and apply relevant software development practices, patterns, tools, and technologies. Nice to haves: You have experience with tech stack like Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka , RabbitMQ , OPA ,Rego You have experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices. Youve worked with Rego, Dynatrace ,Golang, NodeJS Youve built high reliability or security systems.
