Senior QA Tester INDUSTRY: Healthcare; its a growing consulting firm dedicated to advancing public health. Formed by a group of former CDC employees. LOCATION: 100% remote in the US 12 Month LinkedIn needed (otherwise don't submit) EST and CST hours MUST-HAVES SKILLS: Python & PyCharm for automated testing, SQL Server, XML, XSL Python for automation testing PyCharm IDE Front-End Testing/UI Database Skills: SQL Server, SQL Queries Some manual testing TEAM STRUCTURE: 7-8 different Epics with developers, PM, BA, and QA on each. SCOPE OF WORK: Support a project for various Public Health Jurisdictions. Developing, maintaining, and supporting a web-based Disease Surveillance System. This system is used by public health jurisdictions to collect, analyze, and report disease occurrence data to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with continued improvement of the performance and integration testing process, including best practices around the Performance Center of Excellence Work together with software engineers to improve system quality and performance Working closely with developers on story card under development and ensure the quality of development is of highest standard Work with Development teams to troubleshoot and improve identified performance bottlenecks Participate in developing and maintaining good working relationships with peers in product development, project management and client services Works closely with development manager to creates and/or contributes to test plans and test procedures Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management QUALIFICATIONS College graduate (BS/MS degree) with at least 5 years of experience in both manual and automation testing on large complex projects that required constant team coordination Experience in preparing Test Strategy, Test Plans and Test Cases for various types of testing Experience in the development of automated test scripts using Python and PyCharm Experience in test management and defect tracking tools like Atlassian Jira Experience with testing in SQL Server database Familiarity with XML, XSL technologies Understanding of data/metadata and relational databases Basic technical writing skills and the ability to communicate clearly Attention to detail Keywords: quality analyst business analyst user interface information technology microsoft Senior QA Tester :: remote [email protected] https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1949682&uid= |
