Job Tittle: Solutions Architect Location: Seattle, WA(Onsite/hybrid) Duration: Contract (6-12 Months) MOI : Virtual Tax Term: 1099, C2C Job Description: Top 3 Must Haves: 1. Experience as a Solutions Architect in an enterprise environment architecting complex solutions and product management for Payment and Fraud solutions. 2. Experience with Payments from a Fraud/Security perspective - ability to design for specific security threat models and able to describe basic and advanced security and compliance aspects of cloud platform primitives 3. Experience with AWS services - developing, deploying, scaling, and maintaining software systems; a majority of this experience should come from working in and around cloud-based services Experience: BS / BA in technology related discipline or relevant industry experience. Minimum 5 years of real-world experience developing, deploying, scaling, and maintaining software systems; a majority of this experience should come from working in and around cloud-based services. Qualifications: Payments and fraud experience for retail or eCommerce businesses is strongly preferred. Deep hands-on experience using compute, networking, storage, and database components in Amazon AWS (preferred). Able to design for specific security threat models and able to describe basic and advanced security and compliance aspects of cloud platform primitives. Be able to describe the key services of a given cloud platform and be able to select appropriately for given use cases, e.g., compute, storage, analytics, cost etc. Responsibilities: Participate and present at architecture design reviews. Proactively align with key stakeholders, seek organizational context, and apply learnings to architecture solutions; be comfortable supporting and communicating with diverse technical and business teams. Evaluate, document, and escalate alterations to future state architectures. Communicates trade-offs in different types of engineering and architecture processes and adjust your teams process to meet the needs of the project and others on the team. Contribute to the growth and strength of the architecture community of practice by actively attending and presenting at community events. In partnership with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Owners, Engineers and other Architects, you provide leadership in defining project requirements and success criteria along with guiding the design throughout the development lifecycle.
