The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of Java-based applications in a production environment, resolving incidents, debugging issues, and collaborating with teams to maintain system stability and performance. Key Responsibilities Monitor and support Java-based applications in a production environment. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues promptly to minimize downtime. Handle incidents, root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions. Provide support for application deployments and upgrades. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to resolve complex issues. Develop and maintain system documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles. Use monitoring tools to proactively identify and address performance or stability issues. Analyze logs, queries, and reports to resolve customer issues and system errors. Ensure compliance with SLAs and provide timely communication regarding incidents and resolutions. Recommend and implement improvements for system reliability and efficiency. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. experience in Java application support. Proficiency in Java and related frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc. Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Experience with log analysis tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK stack) and monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, AppDynamics). Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
