Role: Application Support Engineer Location: OFallon MO Project Scope: Software Engineers at design and code artificial intelligence, cloud, and machine learning platforms that provide mission-critical insights to many of the worlds leading organizations and governments. As a Software Engineer, you will deliver these products and solutions with speed and agility as part of a small team. This will involve developing high-performing, highly scalable software solutions and products for some of the worlds top brands. Specific tasks vary depending on the project and the business unit that you join in. Roles and Responsibilities: Own tasks (dev, test, deployment) at an application/software component level Able to troubleshoot and refactor existing code Adopt new languages and architecture patterns needed for the work Influence the decisions made by the team Assist peers and less experienced members All about you It is not expected that any single candidate would have expertise across all these areas. Has strong programming skills in three or more languages (e.g., DevOps, Splunk, SQL, Unix Scripting); Understands and implements standard branching (e.g., Git flow) and peer review practices; Apply tools (e.g., Jenkin Pipelines) and techniques to scan and measure code quality and anti-patterns as part of development activity Should be familiar with Bit Bucket and code deployment tools like Jenkins. Understand different application business flows and assist the customers in sorting out their issues. Understands Continuous Integration (CI) and Delivery (CD) concepts and capabilities to support automation, pipelines, virtualization, and containerization; Aware of configuration management using tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Art factory, Jenkins, Git, Sonar). Supports the application all the time and performs On-Call Duties. Should represent the team during client calls and should be able to handle all critical issues. Should be having an SRE skill set and should be easy to handle any sort of work.
