Looks like you are looking for a Developer that has further their career into responsibility for the full CI/CD life Cycle This is primarily focused on DevSecOps pipelines but does require some developer skills to be able to work on scripts required to support the pipelines and support product teams on adapting the pipelines and helping them with configuration issues. Extensive experience implementing build and deploy pipelines using Gitlab - Must have ***NOT LOOKING for a systems admin that now writes a few automation scripts on the infrastructure. All qualifications are important! Please be sure to ask about the following during pre-screening: Gitlab (or equivalent Github actions): - Experience with containers - Deployment/Orchestration experience: CICD, harness or any tool in that space etc. - Migration experience: Jenkins (or bamboo or any tool in that category) to Gitlab - Application build/deployment/scans experience using gitlab. We are seeking a passionate and skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our high-performing development team. Provide support to the ongoing implementation of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline that supports the program. Experience with the core toolset utilized in the programs pipeline or similar tools will allow you to operate at the appropriate level for this role. An in-depth knowledge of tool interactions within the pipeline will allow to you support troubleshooting of issues. The DevSecOps Engineer must be able to quickly learn business workflows, technical architecture and dependent systems of the supported services. You will be working with AWS, Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker/Podman, ECS, Terraform, Ansible or an equivalent are a wide array of tools that you have used in the past Ensure continuous availability of various DevOps tools supporting SCM & Release Management including Source Control, Containerization, Continuous Integration, & Change Management. (Gitlab, Docker, JIRA, SonarQube, Terraform, AWS CLI). Work with cross-functional co-located teams in design, development and implementation of enterprise scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment monitoring and self-healing, and facilitate autonomous delivery teams. Will operate as a technical expert on DevOps infrastructure projects pertaining to Containerization, systems management, design and architecture. Perform performance analysis and optimization, monitoring and problem resolution, upgrade planning and execution, and process creation and documentation. Integrate newly developed and existing applications into private, public and hybrid cloud environments. Automate deployment pipelines in a scalable, secure and reliable manner. Leverage application monitoring tools to troubleshoot and diagnose environment issues. This position is contingent upon contract award Qualifications - External Required Qualifications and Skills: BA/BS degree and 5 years relevant experience or MA/MS degree or higher and 3 years relevant experience Extensive experience implementing build and deploy pipelines using Gitlab Experience working in a large software development program using Agile development methodology. Experienced in the development of end-to-end solutions supporting deployments across multiple environments. Familiar with various branching strategies. Over 5 Years of Functional experience supporting DevOps/DevSecOps to reengineer and automate the software development process. To effectively support various teams, the candidate should have 5 years of experience in DevOps pipeline tools and technologies, including Jenkins, Ansible, Nexus RM/IQ, SonarQube, Docker, Gitlab CI/CD, Flexera AppPortal, Maven, Splunk, Cloudforms, Puppet and Kubernetes. At least four-years hands-on experience Able to demonstrate in-depth technical expertise in DevSecOps techniques, continuous integration, continuous testing, and continuous deployment. Capable of implementing automated methods that improve the performance and reliability of the system including scripting, integration, and problem resolution related to the CI/CD pipeline tool chain. Experience provisioning and managing resources within IaaS/Cloud infrastructures (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.). Experience with the NIST family of Information Security-related publications including 800-37, 800-53 and OMB Circular A-130 Experience with at least some of the following technologies and techniques: CI/CD, Java, Python, JavaScript, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, Configuration Management, Test Automation, Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven testing, DevSecOps Collaboration, Rally, Gradle, AWS, Terraform, Apache Ant, Apache Jmeter, Azure Must be able to obtain Public Trust Desired Qualifications and Skills: AWS experience and certifications a plus Experience developing and/or integrating with Artificial Intelligence (ML, NLP, etc.) models is a plus.
