Position : Scrum Master (SRE, DevOps) Location : Phoenix, AZ (Onsite- 3 days a week) Duration : 6+ months Mode of interview : Video Job description : Help build Enterprise Observability platform to its roadmap defined in 2024. Observability team will be building and implementing new product features to its platform, ingestion by way of integrating with the enterprise tools, products, and applications to deliver Enterprise Observability, with Alerting, Monitoring, Auto healing and SNOW integration. We will be scaling to the needs for the newly ingested volume as needed and will be completing the aggregation and visualization of all the required telemetry data ingested from Edge, Azure, GCP, Supply Chain, Digital, Pharmacy and rest of the applications to a single centralized monitoring platform. Must haves Strong communication skills Capable of running big room planning, RTE/AGILE/Safe Certified Strong Scrum backgrounds someone who work in enterprise level companies Managing and delivering Observability products using open-source frameworks, monitoring tools, and technologies. Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Scrum Master with experience in Agile, SAFe, and Big Room Planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guiding Agile teams, coordinating with business partners, and driving technical solutions for key product initiatives. This role collaborates closely with business partners, DevOps, Platform teams, Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects, and Leadership to ensure solutions are complete, efficient, and aligned with standards. The Scrum Master will ensure the scrum team stays on track to meet delivery goals and project milestones. Main Responsibilities Project Initiation: Lead project kick-off and inception activities, setting a strong foundation for success. Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive and align teams in support of key product initiatives by working closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, DevOps, and QA. Roadmap Development: Partner with Product Management to create viable roadmaps for platforms and capabilities, enabling the full potential of each product. Project Execution: Coordinate project development from initiation to release using Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC principles. Release Planning: Collaborate with business units to prioritize, plan, and complete development schedules for major product releases. Agile Methodology: Demonstrate proficiency in Scrum and Kanban methodologies, with an understanding of Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD). Team Metrics: Monitor and manage team velocity, financials, and other key metrics to ensure progress aligns with goals. Issue Resolution: Identify and escalate impediments, risks, and issues to maintain momentum in product development. Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to Technical Project Managers, Agile Champions, and team members. Stakeholder Communication: Develop and deliver formal presentations, training, and executive-level updates to ensure all stakeholders are informed. Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: o 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Technical Project Manager in a software development environment with multiple SAFe Agile teams. o 2+ years managing and delivering Observability/SRE/DEVOps products using open-source frameworks, monitoring tools, and technologies. o Experience with project budgeting and reporting. Certifications: o SAFe and/or Scrum Master Certification is preferred. o PMP Certification is a plus. Agile Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Agile practices, SCRUM, Test Driven Development, SAFe, XP, and Kanban. Key Skills Communication: Ability to provide program-level updates to executives, demonstrating leadership and fostering trust within the organization. Facilitation: Proficient in leading Scrum meetings and team discussions, coordinating cross-functional collaboration. Transparency: Strong commitment to transparency, fostering trust within the team and with business partners. Conflict Resolution: Skilled in handling impediments and facilitating alternative solutions to resolve conflicts effectively.
