Position : Product Owner (Appian) Location : Remote CST hours and be willing to travel to Houston every few months Duration : 6+ months Mode of interview : Video Notes: Product Owner---Appian Focus Having worked in Appian before is a big plus Person is leading a dev team building out apian that is used across product lines Managing the backlog and DevOps Job description : Responsibilities Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements Defining the vision of the product Creating a product road map based on the vision Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development Developing user stories and define acceptance criteria, Groom and prioritize backlogs Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. developers, designers, and quality assurance) to ensure that the product meets customer needs. Requirements : In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology Work experience as a Product Owner Ability to prioritize effectively Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles Excellent oral and written communication Ability to work with large teams ** Experience with Appian or any BPM tools required NOTE: If I miss answering over the phone The BEST way to communicate is through an EMAIL or LinkedIn.
