MOI - Skype Top 3Requirements: - 5 yearsof development experience using Python programing language -Experience with Django web framework tool -Experience with React Plusses: - In-depthknowledge in relational databases (MySQL / MariaDB, Postgres, etc.) and SQLsyntax - Curiosity(how does this affect big picture, what happens to someone else's work if I dothis) MAJORDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Activelyand consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customerexperience -Developstools and applications to increase automation of manual process to increaseaccuracy and efficiency in day-to-day tasks -Developstools to aid in proactive monitoring and issue detection on customer premisesequipment and the associated back office systems -Coordinateswith internal departments to review existing integration capabilities, datasources, and proposed solution designs for feasibility, cost and functionality -Conductsdesign sessions with appropriate participation from architects and engineers -Createsdetailed design documents and functional specifications for new applications /services and for enhancements to existing systems / services -Collaboratesto creates configuration designs for design and implementation of variousenvironments -Createswork effort estimates for new features and bug fixes for use in prioritizationand release management -Designcore code modules, unit test tools and release notes for enhancements and bugfixes -Reviewsnew development tools, application frameworks and testing tools forfunctionality / effectiveness -Provides'on call' support to resolve application and tool outages after normal businesshours -Usesestablished change management processes, requiring operational procedures beperformed with minimal customer impact, (i.e. during established maintenancewindow) -Configure,tune and maintain databases in variety of languages REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS Advancedknowledge of the Python programing language including utilization of ClassStructures, network related modules and programing (HTTP, socket, ping, SNMP,etc. ), database integration, Python web frameworks, RESTful API integration(React, Django) Strongability to transform an operational need into a description of systemparameters and incorporate those parameters in the control of the total systemdevelopment to achieve an optimum, cost-effective balance of all systemelements Strong withObject Oriented Programming along with applicable design patterns In-depthknowledge in relational databases (MySQL / MariaDB, Postgres, etc.) and SQLsyntax In-depthexperience in developing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab Runner, AtlassianBamboo) In-depthknowledge of Source/Version Control (Git, GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket) andperforming pull/merge requests along with code reviews In-depthknowing working with message brokers (such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka,etc.) PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS Workingknowledge of System monitoring applications (OP5, Nagios, SolarWinds, HPOpenView, etc. Workingknowledge of LAN/WAN topology, network protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, NFS), switchesand firewalls Experienceactivating/maintaining CPE per the DOCSIS, PacketCable, and SNMP specifications Experiencewith configuration of CPE using the TR-069 and related specifications Experiencewith DHCP, DNS, SNMP, and TFTP protocols Strongexperience with SQL, MySQL, and other database technologies. NoSQL and columnardata store experience a plus.
