Will implement best practices for database security and compliance with data privacy regulations, incorporating access controls, encryption, and auditing mechanisms. Required Expeirence and Skills: 5+ years experience as a database administrator Designing, implementing, and maintaining SQL Server and Azure Databases Experience moving SQL on-prem databases to Azure cloud Experience with Data platforms to support high volume OLTP systems (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Postgres, Azure SQL) Experience designing, developing, and enhance ETL processes using Azure Data Factory Experience with scripting languages: Python, Power Preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of data warehouse systems and MPP database architecture desired Experience in architecture design and managing Databases in cloud and on-prem Understanding and ability to work with IaC, CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, Aws Lambda, Azure Resource Manager etc. Good judgment, prompt decision-making ability, responsibility and accountability. Commitment to teamwork as a contributor. Ability to envision and create automation for provisioning and administration tasks. Document and maintain database policies, procedures, and standards.
