Strong knowledge of Windows 11, including compatibility, optimization, and VDI performance tuning. Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Hypervisor). Strong in-depth experience on Citrix products especially with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop and its components Design, implement, and configure a new Citrix infrastructure to support Windows 11 desktop VDIs. Set up the Citrix environment including Citrix Delivery Controllers, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Director, Citrix License Server, and Citrix Gateway. Ensure compatibility with Windows 11 desktop VDIs and optimize for performance, security, and scalability. Collaborate with networking, storage, and security teams to ensure proper integration of the new infrastructure components. Create new Windows 11 VDIs for pilot users, ensuring full functionality of all applications and day-to-day tasks. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during the pilot phase. Decommission and delete original, non-Windows 11 VDIs once the testing phase is complete. Identify the list of active and persistent users/VDIs that need to be upgraded to Windows 11. Coordinate with the business and user groups to understand application dependencies and usage patterns. Create an inventory of VDIs that are part of the migration project. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the creation and configuration of VDIs. Decommission original non-Windows 11 VDIs after users have successfully migrated to their new Windows 11 environment.
