Experience with large, complex implementation and deployment of security tools and programs. Specific Technical abilities: Advanced technology skills. Familiarity with Security Control organizations such as NIST, CSA, CIS, ISO, FFIEC. Scripting (e.g. Python) or coding Knowledge of specific technologies associated with data protection, data governance, artificial intelligence, cognitive thinking as well as cloud technologies (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS), directory, database, federation, authorization, authentication, provisioning, mobility, mobile applications, etc. Advanced comprehension of cryptography components, standards and protocols such as PKI, Key management (software and hardware based), key lifecycle, digital certificates, network access controls, SSL/TLS, SSH, integration into overall network and security architecture and means to operationalize. Expert knowledge of network concepts: Layer 2 connectivity, Wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, Load balancing, NTP, switching and routing, dynamic routing protocols, VXLAN, Netflow Functions as level IV Network Engineer and provides functional and technical support at the most advanced level. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leads and drives network architecture implementation and strategy from the view of architecture standards, assessment and design. Utilizes cross disciplinary technical experience to ensure architectural functionality aligns and supports business goals and objectives. Creates network architecture standards, implementation methodologies, assessment guidance and designs processes across various network domain capabilities. Creates network architecture diagrams. Drives adoption of network architecture standards Conducts thorough document network practices and promote best practices across the organization. Aligns standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy. Facilitates communication between IT and non-IT professionals, ensuring proper attention to process and security controls. Drives the adoption of network architecture standards. Conducts incident response analyses. Acts as an expert resource in network and security to other teams and partners throughout design/development/launch. Identifies and communicates current and emerging security threats/issues. Designs, builds and implements enterprise class network and security systems. Job Description Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies and procedures. Implements, or oversees the implementation, of internal client projects. Provides feedback and guidance to team members when necessary. Acts as a Level 4 escalation point for the support team.
