It's a b2b2c where all of the customer's customers use the data and platform for their customers. It's known as Card Portal, and once the customer logs in, they can access any feature/functionality that Smart Data offers This is a software development engineering role where the person would write java code on a day to day basis. Deploying into PCf and Microservices/service oriented architecture. Strong java background is needed. TOP SKILLS 1. Java, OOP 2. DevOps/CI CD 3. Microservices/SOA 4. PCF 5. Angular NICE TO HAVE 1. CICD Summary Work in the commercial space on the Portal that is gateway/entry into all Commercial/Smart data applications Coordinate and participate in coding, design, changes, enhancements and system testing of Commercial applications. Role Contribute to the delivery of decoupling the existing platforms into smaller reusable services by maintain a technology roadmaps Hands on experience in Java/J2EE technologies with, REST APIs, JSON, Postgres, microservices architecture, Spring boot and web app design framework working experience, DevOps and CI/CD Experience in delivering solutions in Financial Services Sector is preferred. Has the ability to write secure code in multiple languages (e.g., Java, DevOps, CI/CD, JavaScript) and familiar with secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT) and vulnerabilities Has skills in building applications using open frameworks to achieve reuse and reduce development times (e.g., Spring Boot, Angular, others) Understands internals of operating systems (Windows, Linux) to write interoperable and performant code Able to perform debugging and troubleshooting to analyze core, heap, thread dumps and remove coding errors Has skills to document and coach team on the development practices and coding guidelines (e.g., branching, peer reviews, library use, logging, scanning Experience in DevOps model/strategy and Site Reliability Engineering Current experience in delivering innovative technical solutions to meet business and product strategies. Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and have the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment. Keen to work in a challenging environment where quick learning and resourcefulness are key. Possesses strong communication skills -- both verbal and written and strong relationship, collaborative skills and organizational skills.
