The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our SAP environment, ensuring seamless operation and support for ongoing projects. Key Responsibilities: Technical Solutions: Collaborate with team members to develop and implement technical solutions, including implementations, upgrades, and migrations. System Administration: Manage SAP BASIS activities, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and leading escalations as necessary. Monitoring: Oversee SAP systems, logs, work processes, and health checks to ensure optimal performance. Configuration: Set up and configure Solution Manager for technical monitoring and system administration. Support Activities: Participate in system refresh tasks, client copies, archiving, and other BASIS-related activities. Connection Management: Configure and manage connections between various systems and SAP. Job Requirements: Experience: Proven experience in heterogeneous migrations with Unicode conversion using SWPM and DMO. S/4HANA Expertise: At least one end-to-end S/4HANA conversion. Technical Knowledge: Strong BASIS technical knowledge with hands-on experience in installation, upgrades, and global SAP system support. SAP Products: Familiarity with SAP products like ECC, BW, APO, CRM, Fiori, and Solution Manager. Database Skills: Deep technical skills in HANA, DB2, and Oracle administration with troubleshooting capabilities. Cloud Knowledge: Understanding of operating SAP systems in the Cloud (preferably Azure). OS Experience: Proficiency in SUSE Linux/AIX and Windows server versions. System Admin: Strong knowledge in performance monitoring, transports, background job setup, support package applications, and system refresh activities. Archiving Tools: Experience with SAP archiving and knowledge of tools like OpenText and KGS. Management Tools: Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management processes. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
