Visa: US Citizen, GC, GC-EAD, H4/EAD, TN Only Team: Engineering Start: ASAP Duration: 6-12+ months Interview Process: 1 Round Background Check + Drug Test (if applicable): Will be BG Check Logo: Yes Minimum Qualification: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent STEM degree, with 5-10+ years of related industry experience OR Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent STEM degree, with 3-5+ years of related industry experience Knowledge and experience of design and trouble-shoot in some of the following areas: system on chip embedded solutions, volatile and no-volatile memory architectures and standards, IEEE 802 communication standards, high speed IO standards (PCie, SDIO, USB), digital audio and video standards (I2S, SPDIF, HDMI, MIPI). Hands-on experience with partial or complete ownership of digital electronics design Experience troubleshooting and system level technical knowledge. Experience working across multiple disciplines in one or more of the following: analog and power electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, radio engineering, system software, and other product development engineering teams including hardware validation, compliance, audio etc Well-developed reporting and communication skills, including the ability to explain and summarize complicated issues. Preferred Qualifications: Technical : Experience in analog circuit design (op amp, comparator, IR, sensor, power) Experience using audio test equipment (AP) Experience with high-speed digital design Experience using RF and/or EMC test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, Agilent or IQFlex WiFi analyzers) Knowledge and experience in resolving EMI and ESD issues. Design experience for low power operation including Standby and Sleep states. Experience with PMICs or other customized regulator designs. Experience in firmware writing for micro controllers or experience in software development. Design experience with SoCs running Linux and real time operating systems. Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements and testing procedures (ESD, EMI, safety) Ability to propose, set up, and execute validation testing plans with minimal guidance. Ability to use simulation/analysis tools and best engineering judgment to close issues Other : Technically inquisitive must be able to take on new technical challenges and learn new technical skills on-the-fly and apply the knowledge to solve the issue at hand.
