Position: Contract Duration: 6+ Months Responsibilities: Exp: 10+ Years Experience with design, build and optimize the data architecture and Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) pipelines to make it accessible for Business Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Business Users. Work with Analysts to productionize & scale value creating capabilities including data integration, transformations, model features, and statistical and machine learning models. Handle data administration tasks such as scheduling jobs and fix job errors. Write and review end-user and technical documents, including requirements and design documents for existing and future data systems, as well as data standards and policies. Translate complex data and methodology into strategic, operationally practical insights. Explore complex data sources, becoming a subject matter expert in customer behavior across Apples online retail platforms. Navigate complex data environments as to derive structured data sources and build visualizations providing insight and meaning for Apples business. Work with the Online Analytics Manager to gather requirements and perform exploratory analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and insights towards optimizing the online retail experience. Support the generation of automated reporting and insights through the development of dashboard resources which measure customer engagement and the business impact of Apples online retail platforms. Help ensure the consistency and availability for web analytics across all countries in which the Apple Online store does business. Key Qualifications 3-5 years retail online analytics reporting experience with Adobe/Omniture data capture system. Expert knowledge of data management and visualization technologies: SQL, Python, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Excel, Scripting, Hadoop, S3. Experience working with large-scale data warehouse solutions such as Teradata, Snowflake, or Redshift. Has insight & creativity to see around corners and to design systems in order to mitigate future risk. Support and maintain the analytics tech ecosystem (data warehouse, ETL and BI tools). Strong in web analytics technology applications. Demonstrated ability to extract, conceptualize and communicate the significant patterns of visitor behavior from web data that identifies meaningful business opportunities Excellent conceptual and problem-solving skills Education BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, econometrics or other quantitative field. Preferred MS is computer science, engineering, statistical methods, machine learning or econometrics.
