As part of this role, you will work on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), combining your software and systems engineering skills to build and maintain large-scale, fault-tolerant systems. Key Responsibilities: Code Development: Write and maintain product or system development code in Java and Python. Code Review: Review code developed by peers, ensuring adherence to best practices, such as style guidelines, code accuracy, testability, and efficiency. Issue Triage and Debugging: Diagnose, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations. Design Reviews: Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to make informed decisions about available technologies and solutions. Documentation: Contribute to and maintain product or system documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and clear based on product/program updates and user feedback. System Reliability: Ensure that client applications maintain high reliability, uptime, and fast rate of improvement through proactive monitoring and performance analysis. Capacity and Performance Monitoring: Monitor system capacity and performance, ensuring fault-tolerant operations and scalability. Qualifications: Proficiency in Java and Python: Strong experience with both programming languages and their ecosystems. Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Practical understanding of large-scale, distributed systems and the principles of SRE. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. Code Review & Collaboration: Experience in code review processes and providing constructive feedback. Documentation Skills: Ability to write clear, concise documentation and adapt it based on product or program changes. Experience in High-Availability Systems: Familiarity with designing, building, and maintaining fault-tolerant and scalable systems.
