https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1846053&uid= Title: Linux Server Admin Location: 11420 Lackland Rd, St Louis, MO 63146 Hybrid 4 days in office During the 6-month contract period (the whole team comes to office on Tuesday and Wednesday) Visa: USC and GC Only Duration: 6-month CTH CONTRACT: Hybrid 4 days in office during the 6-month contract period (the whole team comes to office on Tuesday and Wednesday) ONCE CONVERTED TO FTE: Hybrid 3 days in office the whole team comes to office on Tuesday and Wednesday) On call rotation schedule every 5 weeks Will participate in Schnucks Team Player Commitment this person will need to work holiday shifts in store (ex: stocking shelves) this includes 3 shifts at Thanksgiving time and 4 shifts at Christmas time this adds up to about 40 hours a year in total MUST HAVES: 3-5 year of experience or more as a Linux Admin (Sr. Level) AIX (Advanced Interactive eXecutive) - operating systems based on UNIX Patch management experience with Redhat Satellite Oracle (working with database 19 and Exadata platform) PLUSSES : This team is looking to get into automation and IaaS (infrastructure as a service) so finding a candidate with automation experience with Terraform or Ansible would be a HUGE plus! They currently use Terraform on their GCP team, but they want to use more on prem (on this team). Ansible would be starting from the ground up. PeopleSoft this team will be building linux servers to support PeopleSoft so it would be nice if someone had experience on this. DAY TO DAY: Supporting 500 Linux Servers that are 98% VMware and on occasion will help the instore teams that have 250 Linux servers. Will support project work, as it is a team effort. Projects include but not limited to: updating old Redhat servers and regulating cadences for patching using Satellite. This team will be building linux servers to support PeopleSoft and configure systems using Oracle. Using SolarWinds for monitoring and Palo Alto firewalls. Support implementation of automation scripts using Terraform or Ansible.
