General Purpose

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of Genesys Call Center integrated with Salesforce.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telephone systems and project management, particularly within an Agile environment.

This role involves defining project initiation steps and effectively utilizing tools and methodologies to ensure project success.

Position Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Manage diverse project teams, including developers, quality analysts, business analysts, and project sponsors.

Project Scheduling: Define and maintain the project schedule to ensure timely delivery.

Budget Management: Oversee the project budget, scope, and risk management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Impediment Removal: Identify and remove obstacles hindering project progress, focusing on delivery.

Deployment Planning: Manage deployment planning and execution phases.

Status Reporting: Provide clear and concise status updates to all levels of Project and Executive team members.

Scrum Master Duties: Coach the project team in Agile methodologies, facilitating ceremonies such as stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and story mapping.

Process Improvement: Champion and implement ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Team Engagement: Foster team empowerment and engagement, creating a collaborative working environment.

Ceremony Facilitation: Organize and facilitate all project ceremonies to promote team collaboration and accountability.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in an IT Project Management role.

At least 3 years of experience managing projects in an Agile environment.

Experience with telephone systems and implementing communication solutions.

Technical Skills:

        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

        Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally) preferred.

Certifications:

PMP or PMP-ACP certification is preferred.

Agile Practices: Understanding of Agile engineering practices, including Test Driven Development.

Scrum Mastery: Proven ability to lead and coach teams in Agile methodologies.

Qualifying Criteria
