Job Title : Mobile Automation Engineer Employment Type : Contract, C2C, Full time / Direct Hire, 1099 Location : Boston , MA, US | Pleasanton , CA, US Job Description Job Description We are seeking a talented and motivated Mobile Automation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts for our mobile applications using Java, Selenium, and Appium. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Java and Appium. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts to define testing requirements and deliver high-quality mobile applications. Analyze and debug test failures, providing the necessary feedback to the development team to enhance application performance and reliability. Implement and maintain test automation frameworks for both iOS and Android applications. Conduct performance testing and stability testing as part of the mobile application quality assurance process. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on software requirements and change specifications. Continuously integrate and deliver automated testing solutions to our CI/CD pipeline. Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies, and recommend improvements to automation processes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Mobile Automation Engineer with focus on mobile application testing. Proficient in Java programming language and familiar with Selenium WebDriver. Hands-on experience with Appium for automating mobile applications. Solid understanding of mobile application development (iOS and Android). Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit). Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and testing frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber is a plus. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience in medical domain is a added advantage. Keywords Customer already has a project execution in progress and to speed up they want to onboard few more resources into the team for generating more automation scripts sooner.
