Creating / modifying logical and physical data models 2. Comfortable in using data modeling tools like ErWin, IDA (preferred). 3. Ability to create complex source to target mappings 4. Exposure to finance industry data models (like IBM BDW / OFSAA). **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Proven experience as a **Data Modeler** working in data warehouse environments. - Strong expertise with **IBM IDA (InfoSphere Data Architect)** or ErWin data modeling tools. - Solid understanding of **Azure** and **Databricks** architecture, and experience working in cloud-based data environments. - Proficiency in relational and dimensional data modeling techniques, including star and snowflake schemas. - Hands-on experience with SQL and database design, with knowledge of data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. - Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with **Azure Synapse**, **Azure Data Factory**, and **Databricks Delta Lake**. - Knowledge of big data technologies and principles of data lakehouse architectures. - Experience in agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
