Position : System Administrator Location : Denver Federal Center, West 6th Avenue and, Kipling St, Lakewood, CO 80225 Duration: 6 Month Contract Visa : USC, Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance Interview mode: : VIDEO Job Description Responsibilities Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Government Technical Service Area Lead on daily issues, activities, and projects. - Work on the Generation Resources Information Database (GRID) and Industrial Monitoring System (IMS) Projects. - Manage and maintain Enterprise Windows servers hosting various applications, databases, and services. - Ensure reliable and secure IT services in Microsoft Windows Administration. - Participate in the administration of the DOI Active Directory Forest. Skills & Experience: - Comprehensive understanding of network services and systems (TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, LAN, firewalls, routers, printers). - Ability to analyze, evaluate, and troubleshoot networks. - Proficiency in designing and implementing Wi-Fi and security infrastructure. - Strong time management and multitasking skills. - Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical team members. Technical Expertise: - Operating System Administration (COM/DCOM, Group Policy, UAC, Networking, Windows Services, Power). - Experience with GE Historian, PI Historian, and Aveva Predictive Analytics. - Knowledge of Waterfall for data backfill and remote screen view. - Server hardware configuration and network connection. - System updates, patching, and firewall management. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. - 5+ years of related work experience. - Desired certifications: MCSE, CompTIA Server+, Red Hat Certified System Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer, VMware Certified Professional.
