Job : Network Engineer Location :: Santa Clara, CAONSITE 12+ months CTH Job Description 8+ years of experience in routing protocols and switching, with a focus on Cisco environments. CCNP certification required, with experience in senior-level network engineering roles. Extensive experience working in Cisco LAN and Wi-Fi environments. Lead the development and implementation of automation for network deployments. Design and implement automation and toolsets for real-time network monitoring, fault management, and self-healing responses. Create automation solutions and toolsets for end-to-end application visibility and performance management. Domain expertise in networking protocols, network management, automation, and data analysis. Develop and maintain detailed documentation; collaborate cross-functionally to enhance network design and production workflows. Analyze network data to diagnose and identify root causes of network and tooling issues. Improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of various network systems and resources. Document and maintain Global LAN/WAN/MPLS/DIA/DMZ architectures. Deep understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP models. In-depth network knowledge, including Layer 1 & 2, Spanning-Tree, and Wi-Fi RF Spectrum. Proven experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Strong documentation skills and proficiency in verbal and written communication. Experience with basic automation scripting using Python, Perl, and NETCONF.
