Title: GIS Developer

Location: Miami, FL Remote

Duration:12 months with possible extensions

Must-have skills:

GIS development exp

ESRI

.Net

JavaScript

PREFERRED :

gov exp

Additional information:

The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested, to guarantee the Client that the candidate submitted, interviewing and showing up for work is one and the same

Requirements:

Experience in the use of Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise, AGOL, and ArcGIS Server (3+ years);

Experience in creating and maintaining geographic layers;

Experience with ESRI online and/or ESRI portal;

Experience with ESRI field technology;

Experience with ArcSDE GIS software;

Experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro;

Experience with geographic/geospatial mobile solutions, data collection, processing/analysis, geocoding, aggregation and cartography;

Experience with JavaScript, .Net, Angular, Visual Studio, .Net, HTML, and Python scripting (ArcPy) (preferred);

Bachelors degree in computer science, technology, geography, or a related field can substitute for two years of the required experience.

Responsibilities

include but are not limited to the following:

Assist in the maintenance of existing interactive GIS-based mapping systems;

Investigate and resolve problems encountered in projects and, as appropriate, suggest modifications to meet project objectives;

Assist with GIS application documentation, account management, technical support, and application administration;

Provide technical training to internal and external customers in the use of GIS applications that may be utilized by non-technical specialists.
