Proactively monitor and improve database performance by utilizing indexing, query optimization, and database design strategies. Provide daily support for databases and database applications, ensuring proper backups and documenting/testing recovery procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in Database Management or Data Integration. Expertise with a Database Management System such as DataStax, Oracle, or SQL Server. Familiarity with replication technologies and the ability to interpret Logical Data Models.
