The ISRA is responsible for ensuring accurate data mapping between insurer data and regulatory requirements, and for maintaining compliance with reporting standards. Role Responsibilities: Regulatory Circular Review: Serve as the primary reviewer of regulatory circulars from bureaus and agencies (e.g., CA WCIRB, DE Rating Bureau, FL JUA). Data Mapping: Understand and map field-level regulatory requirements to the insurers data fields. Reporting Accuracy: Ensure data accuracy in statistical reports aligns with financials. Circular Management: Upload and manage circulars through an in-house SharePoint system. Bureau Processes: Familiarity with bureau maintenance processes (e.g., filed circulars, approval circulars). Collaboration: Work with Product Development, Compliance, IT, Business SMEs, and Bureaus to understand data reporting needs. Requirement Addition: Potentially use Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) to add requirements for system changes. Internal Coordination: Partner with internal stakeholders to address regulatory alerts and ensure compliance. Additional Tasks: Perform other related work as required by management. Technical Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 3 years in a Statistical Reporting role within the US insurance industry. Tools: Knowledge of data mapping tools preferred. Software: Familiarity with Microsoft products; SharePoint experience is a plus. Insurance Knowledge: Understanding of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance. Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with regulatory circulars from NCCI, ISO, and other bureaus. General Qualifications: Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and precision. Independence: Ability to work independently with urgency. Task Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities. Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis and report generation tools. Education Requirements: Degree: B.A/B.S degree preferred or equivalent industry experience. Certification: CPCU Designation or advanced degree preferred but not required.
