This resource will be more focused on the Power BI Dev compared to the modeling, however, they should have knowledge or some experience in modeling as they will be working alongside their data modeler. They will be working to create interactive reports so something that has that background is what he is looking for. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Your role will involve creating data models, developing reports and dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and security. Key Responsibilities: Design and Develop Reports: Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards to meet business requirements. Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs. Data Integration: Gather, clean, and transform data from various sources for reporting purposes. DAX Calculations: Create complex Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) calculations and measures to support data analysis. Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on using Power BI effectively. Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and industry trends. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation. Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction. Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts. Knowledge of DAX for creating calculations. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
