Role: Linux Server Administrator Location: Foster City CA Exp : 10 Years Required Skills: Linux, RedHat Linux Administration, Linux Basics Shift: Day Roles & Responsibilities: Strong hands-on experience on Linux operating systems, including RedHat 6 7 8 9 and Ubuntu, SUSE, Amazon Linux2, Amazon Linux 2023, CentOS. Proficient in Linux command-line interface and shell scripting. Working experience in migrating upgrading the Linux operating system major version(e.g RHEL6 to 9 or RHEL7 to 9) In depth knowledge and working experience in Veritas Infoscale cluster. Hands on experience in Pacemaker cluster. Experience in Deploying and Managing the Redhat satellite server and Foreman. OS Security vulnerability management and patching the Linux systems from satellite or foreman. Experience in Ansible, Puppet, Terraform automation tools and Docker container platform. Ability to deploy new physical hardware in datacenter and configure them with redundancy. Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or KVM. Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures and hardening the Linux systems. Experience in AWS services such as EC2, S3, EFS, EBS, VPC, Cloudwatch, IAM, Systems manager. Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP. Knowledge in BeeGFS parallel filesystem and ZFS. Experience in High performance computing cluster management. Adhere to the SOP, ITIL process and framework. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
