Please mention work authorization and location Job Description - Data Migration Specialist/Engineer Location: Deerfield Beach, FL- Hybrid 3 days onsite. open to non local but must relocate from day one Duration: 6 months with likely extensions MOI: Skype Please only send candidates that has Operational system migrations experience from (Mainframe systems to Salesforce ) READ NOTES This role specifically will be working with the IT team to convert data from our Mainframe systems to Salesforce and that will require the ability to perform data classification and profiling. Really learning and understanding the data so when we move it to Salesforce, it will be represented in a manner compatible with the new system Operational system migrations project. Technology/Application Requirements: MUST Have Experience converting data from our Mainframe systems to Salesforce 5+ years hands-on experience working with SQL and a strong understanding of different data structures (flat files, relational, etc.) 5+ years experience with data modeling concepts and techniques Experience with DB Visualizer or similar DB Query tool is required Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing, data mapping, and data conversion activities understanding source systems, data flows and their data models This role specifically will be working with the IT team to convert data from our Mainframe systems to Salesforce and that will require the ability to perform data classification and profiling. Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing, data mapping, and data conversion activities Well versed in data management concepts, data lifecycle and methodologies Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5+ years of related professional experience Job Responsibilities: Responsible for understanding source systems, data flows and their data models Responsible for analyzing data to validate business domains and requirements Close collaboration with Data Architect to design new data models and new views Develop source to target mappings for data lineage (STTM) Responsible for data profiling and ensuring data quality requirements are accurate and complete Act in an advisory capacity in data model reviews, architecture approach and solution design to ensure solution meets business requirements Adheres to JM&A data governance strategy and guidelines Engages in test strategy and test plan development and the execution of use cases to validate data (e.g., create test data, identify existing data to use for testing, writing test scripts to validate data loads, conversions, views, opening defects, etc.) Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships within and between individuals and cross-functional teams Must exhibit strong customer service orientation Ability to influence and motivate individuals and teams to drive mutually beneficial outcomes Understands and demonstrates the company's core values of Communication, Consideration, Cooperation, Accountability and Innovation Working knowledge of agile methodology framework.
