Role : SQL Database Administrator Need at least 20 years of experience. **Position will be remote. Program will allow candidates who are within the state (Any location within the State of Texas).** LinkedIn is a must The position will be the primary DBA on a Snowflake database. Role is responsible for ensuring stability, security, and dependability of the database, and enforcing all processes and best practices. II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/Preferred Experience 20 Required Database administrator on an enterprise scale database. 5 Preferred Experience on a cloud native database. Snowflake experience strongly preferred. 2 Preferred Experience with Public Health Data 2 Preferred Experience with a Texas State Agency preferred. 2 Preferred Experience with DSHS preferred. 2 Preferred Experience interacting with end users preferred. 1 Preferred Experience integratating a cloud based database with a system for Single Sign on preferred. III. TERMS OF SERVICE Services are expected to start 09/01/2024 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 2080 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
