Job Description: The Level III System Engineer supports the Synthetic Training Services program via the performance of systems engineering, project engineering, subcontractor management, modification design, logistics engineering and proposal estimation and proposal preparation tasks. Education and Formal Training: Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or four years, combination of education, experience, and training, in addition to what is listed below. Some engineering team leadership or subcontractor project management desired. Experience: Eight years of aircrew training system or flight simulation device experience (support, modification, and updates) with military/Department of Defense engineering standards including specification and configuration management practices or equivalent education. Experience in related Systems Engineering projects would be an acceptable substitute but must include DOD work in life cycle engineering activities, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test and delivery of hardware and software systems.
