Role: Senior Java Developer Location: New York City (2-3 days onsite a week) Duration: 6-12 month Roles have a potential of f2f Interview in NYC (or possibly Jersey City) Key skills: Banking experience (Market Risk and VAR calculations for Investment Banking Platforms), Java 17, Cloud development with Azure, Spring Cloud, some Python Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure Java applications - Implement distributed processing solutions using multi-threading and multi-processing orchestration - Develop cloud-based applications on Azure, with experience in OpenShift being desirable - Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and create views for relational databases - Analyze data and perform data transformations using tools like SSIS - Script automation tasks using Python.
