Looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage the PostgreSQL environment. The position will be responsible for on-going administration of existing environments including defining, planning, implementing, and supporting physical Mark logic databases for the enterprise. Candidate should possess extensive knowledge of all aspects of PostgreSQL including monitoring and performance tuning Required Skills Significant background in creating complex stored procedures and SQL scripts in PostgreSQL. Understanding of database normalization concepts A minimum of 7+ years database administration experience Proven SQL and PostgreSQL experience Experience in designing and automating repetitive processes. Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL etc. Experience with cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL). Good Hands-on scripting language Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
