Senior network engineers (please try to find some of the preferred skills below- needs a BS degree- and if they have a networking cert that is great!!) 3-5 years of experience Any valid US work authorization is OK. The position is onsite 5x weekly in Germantown (Local of Maryland) MOI: Virtual Responsibilities: Design, implement, troubleshoot, and manage routing and switching of Enterprise Customers terrestrial networks. Ensure the secure transmission of network traffic through network nodes. Work on different vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Velcloud, Cradlepoint products to build and manage Customer networks. Enable new features in networking devices and implement network systems improvements to enhance network performance and reliability. Configure and support Enterprise Customers' routers and switches with networking protocols to ensure seamless communication among network devices. Work on Windows and Linux servers to troubleshoot network issues and to analyze network performance. Perform firmware upgrades on networking devices for bug fixes and enhancements. Use Python Programming Language for config management in cloudify orchestration system and use Python to automate processes. Excellent communication skills Requirements: MS degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field and 2-3 years experience in Customer Network Engineering, or BS degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field plus 5 years' experience in Customer Network Engineering. CCNP or Fortinet certification Python Programming Language Experience working on data networking protocols and telecommunications. Om Verma Tech.
