Looking || MES Functional Consulting | | Wortham, MS Role name: Consultant Role Description: Work closely with clients to understand their MES requirements and prepare technical design documents. Perform UAT testing with customers and resolve any issues identified. Ensure that deployment and release management processes are followed to ensure smooth delivery of MES solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to team members. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure that project goals are being met and customer satisfaction is maintained. Design and architect MES solutions using .Net and other relevant technologies. Ensure that the MES solutions align with the overall IT architecture of the organization. Collaborate with other architects, developers and stakeholders to ensure that MES solutions integrate effectively with other systems. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and other team members. Participate in project planning and estimation to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Ensure that MES solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements. Design solutions using Best of Breed business practices utilizing the Apriso Software suite of products, including requirements gathering, scope definition, solution architecture, gap identification and gap resolution. Guide enterprise implementations and global rollouts together with program and project managers. Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy. Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organizations systems Creation and distribution of knowledge and information with other team members and the company Providing assistance and cover for other team members where required Competencies: EIS : MES Functional Consulting Experience (Years): 8-10 Essential Skills: Good knowledge of manufacturing, quality and plant maintenance processes and procedures. Understanding of SAP modules/systems such as PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), QM (Quality Management), PM (Plant Maintenance) Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Flexible and adept at rapid learning. Experience debugging SAP UI5 or HTML5, XML, JavaScript, SQL queries. Experience working with SAP PP is a big plus. Knowledge of other SAP modules or related manufacturing software is a nice-to-have - Knowledge of integration points between SAP ME and SAP S/4 utilizing SAPMEINT. Strong understanding of industrial automation concepts, including SCADA systems, HMI/HMI interfaces, and data acquisition technologies.
