Title: AMI Analyst Location: Remote Duration- 6+ months Visa- No H1B/OPT Requirements and skills Agile, self-motivated learner Produce high quality of work and checks work frequently Must be able to work in a team and as an individual contributor Must have strong communication skills with all stakeholders (verbal and written) Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and potential resolution paths Ability to draft documents, The candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as on a team. They are to learn the functions of AMI and the legacy applications used by the team with proper training and be able to communicate with end user customers to resolve issues, gaps and collect data. Must be proficient in using excel, PowerPoint, Access database, and SQL Preferred Education/ Experience Bachelors Degree and 2 years relevant work experience Associates Degree and 5 years relevant work experience Responsibilities Support the team in reviewing large data set of meter installation issues and being able to channel the work in and out of the database. The candidate must be able to review and process large sets of data exported from the various agency database . The candidate will be interacting with other vendors on the MIIG team and will be managing the database that is used to issue escalation work for the team to review and be able to receive the data in return and update the database. Develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations to communicate status, work scope and work flow The candidate will be managing a database that is used for tracking escalations from our meter installation vendors and be able to manage multiple work streams performing smart meter installation. They are responsible for issuing work to the MIIG analyst on the team to review the escalations and in return update the database with the results that will ultimately be used for assign work to the different work streams within agency. They will assist the project leads with providing periodic updates that are used for communicating work progress with internal and external stakeholders.
