Role- NPD Developer End Client- JnJ Location- Plymouth, MN 3+ years of medical device experience in NPD, Windchill Functional Skills Under limited supervision, performs and documents moderately complex technical functions relating to test, quality control, lay-out, fabrication, modification, and assembly of mechanical or electrical equipment and/or components. Performs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, developmental Design duties in New Product Development engineering, where some judgement is required. Experience in New Product Development (ND) with Solid works. Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry. Experiment design activities. Management of statistical procedures. Knowledge of computer programs. Oral and written communication in Spanish and English, preferably. NPD experience Preferably knowledge in the medical industry. In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: Identifies, designs, and develops the necessary equipment related to new product development. Performs material tests. Studies the existing processes to implement improvements on new products. Responsible for preparing and managing specifications. Assists technicians and engineers about unusual problems. Responsible for purchasing and designing equipment that meets safety and environment requirements. Performs activities of process/product validation. Can supervise, coordinate, and technically revise the work of a limited group of technicians.
