Your role at Sephora: As a Senior Software Engineer you will design, develop, upgrade and support applications that will enhance the overall digital experience of our end users and systems that consume services provided by one of the best considered Omni Promotions Engine in retail industry. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with extremely talented peers, engineers from cross functional teams, leads and architects to understand and brainstorm on omni-channel solutions and design patterns required to solve a specific problem at hand. Responsibilities Technical design, development and delivery of complex features and enhancement of the Omni Promotions Engine APIs Develop secure and high-quality production code, and actively participate in code review and test solutions to ensure it meets best practice specifications. Drive conversations with offshore team and able to assign the tasks and review the completeness of those tasks. Work across entire tech stack from enterprise applications services to data base. Conduct POCs related to promotions for omni channels. Contribute to the overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability and performance of the omni promotions engine APIs. Serves as a subject matter expert on the projects related to Omni Promo Engine domain. Participate in sprint releases with close to zero tolerance on delivery slippages. Able to quickly understand the business domain of promotions for dotcom and retail channels. Proactively monitor, identify, isolate and resolve problems to avoid impact on the business. Ensure all teams related incident tickets are handled appropriately within the SLAs. Were excited about you if you have: 6+ years of hands-on experience in planning, designing, developing and delivering enterprise solutions with excellent debug and troubleshooting skills.
