Drive customer conversations to define the requirements and overall technical solutions for data and related applications. 2. Collaborating with Customers and Product Marketing / Management teams to identify opportunities that can be exploited through great software features. Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Senior Business Analysts, and other client stakeholders. 3. Review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions. 4. Create technical solutions, artifacts, work products, and presentation of solutions with the customer. 5. Exercise your strong decision-making skills in terms of data analysis and architecting large data infrastructure. 6. Provide technical design or approach for business problems. 7. Use analytic skills to interpret complex information and adapt; participate with the Enterprise Architecture team to evaluate solution design and also collaborate and provide feedback to the product development team; participate in projects with other IT professionals, deliver quality applications and components within scope, on time, and within budget. 8. Working as a member of a design, build, and test agile team continuously releasing new features. 9. Mentoring people whether they are on your team. 10. 50% coding and 50% reviewing code done by developers, analyzing and helping to solve problems. 11. Participate in business continuous improvement efforts outside of the customer-focused teams; and provide guidance and direction to distributed teams, including onshore and offshore resources. 12. Responsible for creating and maintaining all technical artifacts on the Platform. 13. Provide technical guidance to onshore/offshore development teams. 14. Integration. 15. Testing. Requirements and Design 1. Two plus years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise solutions in Google Cloud. 2. Experience with cloud services such as GKE, VPC, Subnets, Load-balancers, Cloud storage, Big Query, IAM, Data Proc, DataFlow, and Stack driver monitoring. 3. Experience with one or more Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform (preferred). 4. 10 - 12 years of experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE applications using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring XD, and Hibernate. 5. Experience with Big data platforms such as Hadoop and Apache Spark. 6. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. 7. Experience with Azure, AWS, or other Cloud-based PaaS/SaaS environments. Feature Definition 1. Provide technical design or approach for business problems. 2. Demonstrated functional and technical leadership. 3. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills (ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems). 4. Experience designing, building, testing, and releasing software solutions in a complex, large organization. Preferred Qualifications 1. GCP Professional Architect Certification preferred.
