Candidates MUST be within 45 min driving distance from Richmond. If not, they will not be reviewed. Client says- LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. * The selected candidate will need to be onsite 3-4 days/week. Responsibilities: Manage and deliver complex IT project(s) with multiple teams and work streams coordinated to an aggressive delivery schedule. Responsible for the outcome of the assigned projects. Leads the team through the Commonwealth Standard for Project Management for successful completion of the project phases: Preselect, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closeout. Manage projects consisting of Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or IT Infrastructure components (Servers, storage, OS upgrades, networking, software installs, vulnerability remediation, etc.) Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of Cloud implementations, and vendor management. Familiarity with network technologies (switches, firewalls, circuits, etc.) standards and practices. Experience in various software development methodologies.
