There is only 1 round with direct client The selected candidate will be a developer for the Tax Modernization effort and provide support for maintenance activities. Specific duties include but are not limited to: Provide programming duties for tax related applications. Develop and review detailed documentation for system and program change requirement including detail specifications documents. Assist and provide guidance through all phases of the project management life cycle. Develop unit test plans based on coding changes and user specifications. Conduct unit testing and debugging of all code changes in the development environment. Coordinate the migration of all code changes (programs, procedures, etc.) from development environment into user test environment. Use distributed technologies including Java, DB2, XML and XQuery. Provide support, as needed, for defects and issue resolution. Ensure that defects and issues are addressed promptly based on priority. Facilitate and participate in meetings with ITS and DTF customers. Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with DTF management and users, ITS management, and team members Software Developer: NYS Tax Modernization program Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. Mid-Level 36 - 60 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance. 36 months experience with J2EE technologies including JDBC, JSP and XML. 36 months experience developing, building, and testing Java EE applications using modern IDE's, such as Eclipse, Netbeans, or IntelliJ. 24 months experience using J2EE frameworks such as Spring or struts. 12 months experience writing SQL statements for relational databases. 12 months of experience in messaging technologies, such as MQ, JMS, Kafka. 12 months experience developing with HTML, CSS and JavaScript E-mail is the best way to reach me, if I dont pick your call.
