Role : Java Backend Developer with Azure experince Location : Washington DC ( I am looking for only local candidate ) Type : C2C or W2 Onsite : Once a week Visa : No USC or GC through employer Years of experince : 8+ years Technical skills: Java, Springboot, Spring, Hibernate, Nodejs knowledge on configuration related activities, version control tools like GitHub, SVN/GIT, Azure Responsibilities: Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project timelines. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth. Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce coding standards and best practices. Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of backend systems. Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and scalability issues. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our development processes and solutions. Technical Requirements: Proven experience as a Java backend developer, with at least 4 years of experience in Spring Boot development. Strong expertise in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles. Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and related technologies (e.g., Spring Data, Spring Security). Write effective APIs. Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and Azure cloud-based deployment. Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., Azure Cosmos DB, NoSQL, Cassandra) and proficiency in SQL. Experience working in PHP to Java Springboot migration project will be an added advantage. Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
