Job Description: 8+ years of experience in delivering BI reports, data warehouse systems, ETL development, Administering Cognos and Tableau servers and providing production support for existing reports and data warehouse. Experience working as part of a large-scale enterprise IT organization supporting mission-critical applications; Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, technical staff, operations managers, project managers; Strong and articulate verbal and written communication skills Minimum Qualification Requirements: A Baccalaureate degree in computer science, engineering or a related field from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to IT automation engineering, monitoring engineering, management of infrastructure Eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to IT automation engineering, monitoring engineering, and management of infrastructure. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or 2 above. Preferred Skills: Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying BI reports, ETL jobs, and Data warehouse databases& applications. Experience in working on full Enterprise Data warehouse Implementation Proficiency with Cognos BI v11.x (Framework Manager, OLAP Cubes, Transformer, Metrics Server, Analysis Studio, Report Studio, Query Studio, etc.) Cognos Administration and security management is required. Proficiency in Installation, configuration and upgrade of BI software tools. Proficiency with Tableau. Proficiency in production deployments and automation is required. Production support is required. Extensive knowledge of SQL and RDBMS systems (DB2, SQL Server, etc.) is required. Proficiency with ETL tools (DataStage, Informatica, Kettle) is required. Proficiency in javascript and HTML is required. Programming/scripting experience in Linux and knowledge of software development life cycle. Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities Resolve and troubleshoot complex issues related to BI Reporting. Develop and update technical documentation. Experience with R or Python is preferred Well Versed in different development methodologies (Iterative, Agile, Scrum etc.).
