Job Description PLEASE MENTION WORK AUTHORIZATION AND LOCATION Senior MongoDB Engineer 6 months Baltimore, MD (Need Only Local Candidates with DL) Hybrid (Must presently reside within two hours commute distance from Baltimore, MD.) Phone/Skype *** Absolutely must have Ansible automation expertise *** Candidate Must have obtain Public Trust clearance Must have solid knowledge of Mongo Community Edition on Linux, MongoDB architecture, and hands on experience with Ansible automation. Position description: The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn new skills, embed with a team, solicit ideas, and feedback, and have good communication skills and on a day-to-day basis perform the following: Automate and maintain MongoDB databases and infrastructure using Community Edition on Linux. Experience working with AWS database services including EC2, and S3. Attend all customer technical discussions/design/development meetings and provide technical inputs to further enhance the code quality/process. Provide guidance/support to other junior/mid-level developers. Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position Leidos competitively in the marketplace. All other duties as assigned or directed. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Master's or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement. 4+ years of experience with MongoDB Community Edition on Linux. 3+ years of Ansible development of increasing complexity. Candidate should be able to work independently as well as in a team. Excellent communication skills. Required skills/experience: Designing, building, and automating the Infrastructure for MongoDB Community Edition. Proven experience in using Python, Ansible, and similar methods to automate infrastructure tasks. Proven experience with Scripting. Knowledge of MongoDB architecture. Git/Bitbucket, Confluence, and JIRA experience Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Desired skills/experience: Experience with modern development software, tools, and methodologies. Experience working on Agile projects and understanding Agile terminology. Previous work in DevOps Environments. Ansible Automation Platform experience. Experience on automating Amazon ElastiCache provisioning, administration, and maintenance.
