Some Node to be able to connect to the back end as well. Our client is seeking a Front-End Principal / Staff Engineer to assist their organization. As a Front-End Principal / Staff Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our clients technical operations, overseeing and providing guidance to their near-shore partnership teams. Your primary responsibilities will include technical oversight, PR reviews, and pairing with developers to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in their front-end development processes. This role demands a deep understanding of web development and e-commerce, with proficiency in React technology. Responsibilities Provide technical oversight and guidance to near-shore partnership teams, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives. Conduct thorough PR reviews, offering constructive feedback and mentorship to developers to enhance code quality and maintain best practices. Collaborate closely with development teams through pairing sessions, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Utilize your expertise in web development and e-commerce to drive innovation and optimization in front-end solutions. Lead multiple teams effectively, delegating tasks, setting clear expectations, and promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Principal or Senior Staff Engineer, with a focus on front-end development. Extensive experience in web development and e-commerce, with a strong proficiency in React technology. Experience with Node.js for backend connectivity and integrating front-end with backend systems. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor multiple teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing competing priorities effectively.
