The firm has been transitioning into a full service investment bank, there are more complex and expansion of data needs, bigger client database and more financial products to service We have complicated infrastructure to support the volume of data and the broader range of activities in the investment division (acquisition of GreenHill) What is this team Data Team in COO in investment banking division. Full service of data management / support/ governernance / visualizations / clean up - owns all the client information / deal information and meeting information that matters to the business. The core essential data that s required to by the senior executives and the organization. This data team is the team that owns the integration and strategy that drives the growth of the business right here. What we are expecting form this candidate Must have hands on experience In SQL and database and optimizing database performance designing schema and integrity. Will own the entire Data Warehouse / clean up / filtering / mapping / aggregating the data into the warehouse / the data sets. Client head count and new deals. SUPER DETAIL ORIENTED having strong knowledge of SQL and manipulate LARGE DATA SETS MUST HAVE Strong financial industry experience INVESTMENT BANKING EXPERINECE is a MUST work with a fast paced environment. Communicate sophisticated IT language and into business knowledge so the business can understand it. To communicate to non-technical stakeholders bankers/ traders and senior IT DOES NOT TOUCH THE CODE not coding really translating code into a business friendly language to help the business understand. And formulate the requirements from the business side to IT language to build the infrastructure. Technical experience must have Very strong SQL skills, macros and programming languages , help automate the off line spreadsheet and efficiency of the formulas they are using MACROS build and read the macros are important POWER BI experience is GOOD to have. To build data visuzlization deliverables to do the reporting to the senior teams. Good Team collaboration, including IT teams and project management team and COO data team, and senior executives. Must be able to articulate message and coordinate Max entrepreneurial mind set, Take something on and drive it. what is the person like, at their core can they grow at the right speed.
