The ideal candidate will have a robust background in server management, cybersecurity, and email protection systems. This role will involve managing and optimizing our server infrastructure while leveraging Proofpoint technologies to enhance our email security posture. Qualifications: Education:Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. Experience:Minimum of 7 years of experience in server engineering or a similar role.At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Proofpoint administration and management. Technical Skills:Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.Strong understanding of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).Experience with email systems and security protocols (SMTP, DMARC, DKIM, SPF).Knowledge of scripting languages (Power, Python) for automation.Familiarity with other email security solutions and cybersecurity frameworks. Certifications:Relevant certifications such as Proofpoint Certified Security Professional, MCSE, CISSP, M365, Azure Solutions Architect or similar are highly desirable. Key Competencies: Problem-Solving Skills:Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Project Management:Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
