Lead Solution Architect Manager Customer EngagementSolutions is responsible for the overall solution design & delivery incustomer engagement solutions for our clients Salesforce platform. This rolewould also need to lead a team of architects to drive solution design anddelivery for projects and initiatives.

The Lead Solution Architect Manager is expected todemonstrate in depth knowledge of customer engagement solutions and Salesforceplatform capabilities. This role is also expected to demonstrate structuredarchitectural design capabilities as well as expertise in business process re-engineering.This person should be a quick learner to precisely understand businessoperational model and processes, and an out of the box thinker.

 This role supportshighly complex business processes that require cross-team integration and wouldrequire managing and leveraging resources from business stakeholders, ITproduct owners, IT technical community and other systems in support of theirproduct. POSITION SUMMARY: Technical Architect Lead SalesforceSolutions is responsible for the technical solution design & delivery incustomer engagement solutions for AmerisourceBergens Salesforce platform. Thisrole would also need to lead a team of architects to drive technical solutiondesign and delivery for projects and initiatives. The successful candidate willbe able to design technical architecture solutions that include integration andauthentication across systems; articulate design considerations, best practices& maximizing SFDC native offerings, architectural impacts & trade-offs,benefits, and recommendations for technical architecture. This role is alsoexpected to demonstrate structured architectural design capabilities as well asexpertise in governing solution construction and quality oversight in delivery.This person should be a quick learner to precisely understand businessprocesses and solutions, and an out of the box thinker. This role supportshighly complex business processes that require cross-team integration and wouldrequire managing and leveraging resources from business stakeholders, ITproduct owners, IT technical community and other systems in support of theirproduct.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Accountable fortechnical solution design of Salesforce platform and related technologies by convertingbusiness solution design into development-ready detailed technical solution

  Accountable fortechnical capability planning and roadmap, and organic growth of capabilitiesalong with project delivery

Accountable for Integration of CRM solution with otherenterprise solutions like Contact center, Order management and e-commerce etc.

Manage a team of architects working in multiple locationsincluding overseas and foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

  Accountable forsolution delivery of special projects, proof of concepts and enhancementprojects.

Responsible for architectural governance and developmentquality guidance

Ability to work with product owner, business owner andfunctional leads to help build solution options.

  Collaborates withprocess owner & solution architect to understand their requirements andpartners with other technical leads and IT shared services to provide solutions

Mentor resources and take on leadership roles to expandteams skills

. Accountable for recruitment and performancereview/improvement of team members.

  Regularly reviewsservice provider performance to identify and confirm performance problems;notifies Vendor and VMO management of issues and escalates to business and ITleaders with regards to vendor performance issues and improvement plans.

  ContractorManagement: Oversight of contractor work and performance, includingcoordinating with Centers of Competence in identifying, onboarding andevaluating vendor performance.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems oranother related field, or equivalent work experience

  Preferably 7 yearsin Information Technology in progressive levels of responsibility andleadership Salesforce-driven solution design experience is required andSalesforce certified training & credentials are required: o Administrator& Advanced Administrator o Platform Developer o Application Architect o CTAor CTA candidate preferred

High level understanding of several components of IT suchas: Product Management, Technical Architecture, Business Analysis, Testing orOperations and Support.

Excellent written and verbal skills, including the abilityto respond well under pressure

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  Strong leadershipskills

Self-motivated and self-directed

Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate acrossorganizations to optimize outcomes

Deep understanding of SFDC concepts and practices. Able toidentify the need and recommend the use of apex and Visual Force to meet abusiness requirement

Understanding of Agile principles and methodology

Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meetcommitments

Ability to work across multiple groups within IT to ensureend to end performance

Excellent interpersonal skills, must be comfortableworking continually on a team with daily accountability for keeping commitments

Excellent written and oral communication, listening andpresentation skills

In-depth knowledge of business operations

Good organizational skills

Ability to use good judgment in conveying status andproblem escalation

Provides coaching and mentoring to team members

Knowledge of the cost basis for the service
