Title : Storage Engineer Location : Foxborough (Foxboro), MA (Onsite ) Duration : 6+ Months Job Description: Proficiency in managing and administering with a Minimum of 5 years of experience in storage engineering, with a focus on Isilon, PowerStore, Power Protect and VxRail Strong understanding of storage protocols and technologies such as NFS, SMB, iSCSI, RAID, and replication. Experience with storage virtualization, clustering, and data protection techniques. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex storage-related issues. Solid understanding of network and server infrastructure, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and server operating systems (Linux, Windows). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Industry certifications with Dell and VMware/BroadCom or equivalent are a plus. Description: We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Storage Engineer to join us for 12 months onsite with potential to extend. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storage systems, particularly with Isilon or PowerStore, and possess a deep understanding of storage architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance. Job Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain storage solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices. Manage and administer Isilon, PowerStore Dell Power Protect storage environments as well ad VMware with specific VxRails experience ensuring optimal performance, capacity planning, and scalability. Troubleshoot storage, VMware and Data Protection related issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage solutions into existing infrastructure and support business initiatives. Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in storage systems and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Provide clear communication with regular update/reports to Managers and Customer leadership teams.
